*NACLO now stands for North American Computational Linguistics Open competition* NACLO announcement December 18, 2019 The US Olympic Committee has asked NACLO and other academic contests to comply with the Ted Stevens Act, which grants use of the terms Olympics, Olympiad solely to the USOC in the United States. Academic Competitions have been working around this restriction for years, but after the most recent request from the USOC, we have agreed to comply, starting with the 2020 competition. If you have spelled out NACLO on your web site, resume, or anything else, please change it to North American Computational Linguistics Open competition.
